If you put a group of people with no previous knowledge in a geographically isolated area, they will start to pick sides and eventually form different groups. Soon enough, they will start wondering about how they came into being. Of course, the first answer they could possibly come up is that a creator with super human ability created them. Where is he now then? easy answer is -up in the sky- which is blue, have white clouds floating - as he is all powerful, he should be residing above us watching over each and every one of us. And if that is the case, there should be a bad guy to fight the good guy. Obvious enough, since the good creator is up there among the clouds, and the bad dude, should have his castle beneath the ground. Different groups formed will give different types of attributes and characters to their own form of creator. As soon as they learn to communicate and find a way record their ideas, they will try to use those techniques to spread their own beliefs. They will eventually write books about what they think the creator is all about. They will add the concept of morality and some stories to make their beliefs appear more convincing. They will teach it to their children, who in turn will teach it to their children. As the cycle continues,they will start fighting each other and maybe killing each other arguing who is right and who is wrong. A few thousand years later, we have a new set of "religions", new set of "morals" and a new set of "Gods".
